More new PS2 games bought to be tested!!

Yes! I got 6 new PS2 games that I recently bought!
Currently I have just tried 5 games:
i. Persona3
- The intro has an anime feel to it! Nice! Just played it until there.
ii. Tekken 5
- Due to excessive view of extremely high 3D on PCs and PS3, I think the graphic of this game is just okay.
iii. Bully
- Great game! From the creators of GTA! But nothing like GTA!
iv. Earache Extreme Metal Racing
- Bought it for the music. Not that interesting though.
v. Shellshock Nam 67
- Haven't tried it yet.
vi. Jackass the Game
- Gives you a great laugh!!!!

By the way, I bought those disc at a shop in Centre Point on the Ground floor for RM8.90 per disc; and somehow the shop did not give me a discount, they gave me RM53.80!! The next day I found out that I can get 3 disc for RM20 at a shop on the Basement floor. That means RM40 for 6 disc. Damn damn damn!

This is the time of my life.. busy thinking how to pay back my study loan!

OMG! Life really goes by so fast and now I'm stuck with paying back my PTPTN loan! I paid RM200 lately last month (August) and when I checked my latest payment on the internet, that RM200 was just enough to pay the accumulating interest. The interest of the loan starts at RM50 per month and decreases until zero if paid every month until the loan is totally finished payed.

Click to go to PTPTN website. :D

I was supposed to start paying the loan on the month of May 2010. Oh damn! With financial problems now, it is quite hard to settle the loan. Haha, don't worry, I ain't gonna take loan from loan sharks. :p

Oh yes, I wanted to mention here about something that happened just recently. I got hit by a car last Wednesday! Well, I was in the car actually. haha.

Left rear brake lamp, broken! Hit by a car!

I couldn't tell the details; well actually it all went by really fast. I just let him go because I have a movie to attend in 10 minutes! All that I can remember is:

Sex: Male
Age: Mid 20's
Origin: Chinese descent
Appearance: Chubby/Classy
Car: Something like Alphard (White)

My friend said that he was on the phone before when and after hitting me. When he went out of the car, he put his phone inside his pant's pocket. Lucky you, I didn't ask for payment. I was a bit regretful though. haha. To change the brake lamp, it cost RM80 (both rear lamp).

At least I enjoyed the Step Up 3D movie! oh yeah! Great movie!! See it in 3D if possible!! Love the casts too. All of them are great dancers!

Thanks to Hobi Max!

Yes! I submitted an entry form for a contest in the Hobi Max magazine in the month of May, and I guess I won! I won the consolation prize! hehe.. It was yesterday, when I reached home, I saw a parcel for me on the dining table. I opened it and it was HGUC Stark Jegan! 1/144! Wuhoo~! I thought I won the Unicorn Gundam, but I guess the Stark Jegan is great too. hahaha.. Plus, its an original Bandai!!

By the way, I missed the issue #2 and #3. I thought those magazine we once every 2 months. Oh well, I'll try to get issue #4. It's kind of expensive, but I'll support because it's a local magazine.

Thanks again to Hobi Max Magazine, The Malaysian Hobby Magazine!!

RGM-89S STARK JEGAN (HGUC)!

Playstation 2!

I might be outdated. LOL! but i bought a Playstation 2 just recently, to be exact, last Thursday, a day after I am back from the mountains. I've decided to not postpone joy, so here it is! The PLAYSTATION 2 console!

Price:
RM570 + RM20 = RM590

Package:
1. 10 pieces of PS2 games (Suddenly became 15 pieces, so generous of the salesgirl)
2. PS2 console
3. 2 Dualshock Joystick (1 original & 1 not-original)
4. Memory Card 32MB

and the extra RM20 is for the PS2 fan.

I guess next year the price will drop more!

Next target would be the Nintendo Wii! Maybe in the next 2 years. Haha!

Mount Kinabalu!

From the 5th to the 7th of July 2010, I've been going up and down Mount Kinabalu for work purposes (TSK Eng. Services Sdn. Bhd.). Well actually for the first 2 days only, because on the last day the only work that has to be done was at the power generator near Timpohon Gate.

@ the Telekom substation; Injecting voltage to the cable using megger to check it's condition via ratio.

It was a very exciting experience, despite the very hard route that I had to take to reach some places. The task for the 1st day is to reach 2 places, Telekom substation and RTM substation. Each are 1.8km apart and to reach Telekom would be a 2km hike from Timpohon gate. That means 3.8km! Damn I was slow. The others were so fast they left me by 30 minutes! *Haha*

Telekom's transmitting tower view from the substation @ 12:00pm.

After finished with RTM Substation, we immediately went down to Timpohon Gate and again I was slow. I reached the gate around 3:50pm. The others were 30 minutes faster.. again! Damn I need a workout.

Mountain trail from RTM to Telekom.

The next day, we went up to Laban Rata; a 6km hike from Timpohon Gate. I was like "WTH!?". I was so exhausted from yesterday, yet I don't know why I wanted to follow eventhough I was told to rest if I cannot go on. It was a chance in a lifetime for me to climb Mount Kinabalu since I don't know when will I ever go up that mountain; probably that was what persuaded me. Nothing much to talk about for the 2nd day. We went up to Layang-layang substation, and next to Laban Rata. Anyway, the Fried Rice at Laban Rata's restaurant is RM15! Coca-cola is RM10.50! Wuhoo~! Exactly 4:00pm, we started to head down towards Timpohon gate from Laban Rata. Really crazy stuff. I reached the gate around 7:00pm. And that is really crazy, by 6:00pm, the mountain trail starts to darken. Actually I started running from km5; fuhh~!! Running downhill!

The 3rd day, we just did some work at the generator. We went back at 12:00pm and reached Kota Kinabalu district in 1 hour.

It was a very great experience to climb Mount Kinabalu, although not to the very top. Hopefully next time I will have the chance to go again, but this time with my friends.

Dad, sorry. :-(

Last Sunday, 3rd of May 2010, My father and I went to our old house in ABID 3 to carry all the leftovers left there. Recently there have been break-ins happening on that block. I realize some of my things were gone. WTH. Even the emergency light was gone.

So, on that day, my 2nd trip to carry things (i made 3 trips), so my dad and I carried the toilet doors into the Landcruiser. I was very2 tired, I carried 3 large mirrors with him before that. So there were 2 doors, the first door was placed in the car perfectly. the second door had a problem getting in. So I just pushed it in and resulted in a torn ceiling.

My dad said many times how heart-ached he was with the car ceiling torn. I was somewhat at that time not-in-the-mood and tired. I felt guilty the next day thinking back if I was in his shoes, how would I feel. How would I feel if my things were broken, even a slight part broken. Of course I will feel bad!! Right?!

So dad, sorry for that. :-(

01 April 2010

To the dentist and straight to St. Simon Church.

I just realized that I have an appointment with the dentist today, which is Good Friday. Arghh! I forgot today is Good Friday; I booked for the appointment today last week.

Recently, on the 29th of March 2010, I went to my former house since there were many thing left there. When I reached the house, I found out the front door was not locked. Furthermore, my bedroom has been ransacked and all of my things were on the floor! The next day, my father went to the house, and he said the 2 TVs were gone! I did not realize it because when i went to the house, the sun was about to set.

2 days before I went to the house, I did pass by in a car to check out the area, I realize 2 people were in front of the house, with a lot of papers and documents from the Customs office. I think that was when they unlocked the door since my mother said she was called regarding the house. The Customs officers wants to put all the papers there. But My mother said the house is still full of things.
I guess they did indeed forgotten to lock the house.

Well, I'm off soon. I want to type more. But maybe soon.

11 March 2010

An article was posted in 2002 when she was a 5th grader (I think she was 10 years old then).
This cute little girl and her friend found a wallet belonging to a local. Read the article below. Click the link below.

Wallet finds its own lucky pennies in park

Unfortunately, today I saw her face in a "video". It is the year 2010, entering her teenage life, an 18 year old. So sad on whats happening towards the world nowadays.

I found the images here.

There are a few videos circulating on the internet. There was a video where I think I saw her with a guy doing stuff while someone is playing a video game on the computer.

She is known by the nickname "Spore-chan" because of the game played by a dude in the video while she was, you-know-what.

Her name is Deira Hanzawa.

The point why I post this is, look at this girl, I'm sure she isn't a whore. Somehow her private video leaked to the internet, viewed by many, adored by many. Isn't the web a dangerous place to be nowdays. So guys & girls, be careful what you post on the internet and choose your friends or boyfriend/girlfriend wisely.

Update: Okay, I said she wasn't a slut. I don't know which is which now. According to my findings on the internet, this girl & her boyfriend uploaded their video to 4chan.org, which makes my understanding tumble like the washing machine washing my clothes. The name Spore-Chan was derived from the game Spore and Chan from the website they uploaded their videos.

So... i don't know what to say. let it be. Hope you repent girl. Seeing yourself on the internet like that. OMG!

Don't you just hate it??

Don't you just hate it when any social networking sites such as Friendster, Myspace or Facebook is being made a place to release relationship frustration. If its just a minor post like "i hate him", or "why is he like that?" that isn't a critical statement. here is an example post that I really find annoying for posting on the internet, actually I'm not annoyed, I'm just bored seeing that kind of post over and over again, from the same person. Oh please! Get a life! Play PS2 or make Gundam mecha.

Example 1:
" apabila kita dalam dunia cinta......semuanya indah......... namun apa bila kita.......menjadi musuh kepada si dia......semuanya.....pahit rasanya.......arkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk............ini lah orang bercinta ni.....time bercinta.....semuanya sayang semuanya......cinta.........tapi dah break..........semua.......hancur............."

This person post almost every love problem she has been in since the last 3 months (After his boyfriend who is one of my close friend has gone for practical)

Example 2:
"ada org ajar aq spy tegas dgn kputusan sdiri..arini aq ikut ckp dia. biarlah aq yg nmpak bsalah..biar tuhan jak tau ati aq cmna. mgkn itu lebih baik dr lempar suma ksalahan pd dia. aq betul2 phm cmna rsanya kna blame n xble xplen..dia pn harus phm. harap dia mgerti...kenapa aq bt bginiii..."

update soon~ MEH JK I'M JUST LAZY. LOL

About cars

I've been driving my mother's Perodua Kancil Ex660 since I got my driving license in 2007. In mid 2009, before my South East Asia Tour with my former band, Outfall (www.myspace.com/nbmc_outfall), I used my big sister's car, the Proton Wira.

Somehow, everytime I used her car, I always have something wrong happen to me.
1. The headlights were broken, probably due to parking.
2. The hood has a small bengkok part which might be caused by parking behind of a Hilux or something similar that has the pull thingy at the back of the vehicle.
3. The alignment went bad before my South East Asia Tour.
4. The front right window (the driver's side) collapsed, resulting in difficulty to wind up. In the end I went for help from my former bandmate, Fabian Junior @ Jun since he is a car technician at that time. Thanks Jun!

All of this happen in 2 weeks. how bad could thing be? An accident? Damn. Its like I was cursed not to use that car. Even the fuel consumption is bad. RM20 for every 100km? I can achieve RM10 for every 100km with a Perodua Kancil.

Right now, I'm thinking of getting a scooter, although my parent might say no. They said no since 2007. It's probably because of the safety of riding a scooter. Its dangerous. Many heavy vehicles are on the road here in Sabah.

Facebook is getting dangerous!

Last Friday (5th of February 2010), there was a post on my Facebook wall. I only found out about it the next day around 9:00pm when I went to a cyber cafe with Cello & Kaey.

It kinda pisses me off, since I didn't post that.

Seriously, I'm getting worried of the safety on such social networking sites.

And if the person who initiate that post thinks it is a joke, then he/she is very out-dated. Stupid, fugly, hope you get slaughtered like swine.

Here's the wall post on my Facebook that I checked today, 7th of February 2010, 4:00pm.

Vomit!

I saw my cat vomit in front of me. yuck! It was Sunday night, after picking up my girlfriend from work, I went home to take a rest before taking my mother from work later. Well, the cat was not so active on that day. Hence I felt a bit weird. Maybe it was because of the afternoon incident when I broung the cat for a ride in the car. The cat probably got car sick. I realize the cat start sleeping from 1pm-7pm.

Here is an image of the vomit I took. (yucks!)

Science Vs. Faith

(A post I copied from my friend's Facebook, Xiao Yo.)

An Atheist Professor of Philosophy was speaking to his Class on the Problem
Science has with GOD , the ALMIGHTY. He asked one of his New
Students to stand and . . .

Professor :Do you Believe in GOD ?
Student : Absolutely, sir.
Professor : Is GOD Good ?
Student : Sure.
Professor : Is GOD ALL - POWERFUL ?
Student : Yes.
Professor : My Brother died of Cancer even though he prayed to GOD to heal
him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But GOD didn't.
How is this GOD good then? Hmm?

(Student was silent )

Professor : You can't answer, can you ? Let's start again, Young fella.
Is GOD Good?
Student : Yes.
Professor : Is Satan good ?
Student : No.
Professor : Where does Satan come from ?
Student : From . . . GOD . . .
Professor : That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student : Yes.
Professor : Evil is everywhere, isn't it ? And GOD did make everything.
Correct?
Student : Yes.
Professor : So who created evil ?

(Student did not answer)

Professor : Is there Sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these
terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student : Yes, sir.
Professor : So, who created them ?

(Student had no answer)

Professor : Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe
the world around you. Tell me, son . . . Have you ever seen GOD?
Student : No, sir.
Professor : Tell us if you have ever heard your GOD?
Student : No , sir.
Professor : Have you ever felt your GOD, tasted your GOD , smelt your GOD ?
Have you ever had any sensory perception of GOD for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Professor : Yet you still believe in HIM?
Student : Yes.
Professor : According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science
says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.
Professor : Yes, faith. And that is the problem science has.

Student asks and professor answers
Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Professor : Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as cold?
Professor : Yes.
Student : No, sir. There isn't..

(The Lecture Theatre became very quiet with this turn of events )

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega
Heat, white Heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything
called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we
can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is
only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure
cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the
absence of it.

(There was pin-drop silence in the Lecture Theatre )

Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Professor : Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student : You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something.
You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light . . but if
you have no light constantly, you have nothing and its called darkness,
isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it is, you would be able
to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?

Professor : So what is the point you are making, Young Man ?
Student : Sir, my point is your Philosophical premise is
flawed.
Professor : Flawed ? Can you explain how?
Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is
life and then there is death, a Good GOD and a Bad GOD. You are viewing the
concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science
can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has
never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the
opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a
substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of
it. Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your students that they evolved
from a monkey?
Professor : If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes,
of course, I do.

Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shook his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the
argument was going)

Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work
and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not
teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?

(The class was in uproar )

Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's
brain?

(The class broke out into laughter)

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain,
felt it, touched or smelt it? . . .No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, Science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room was silent. The Professor stared at the student, his face
unfathomable)

Professor : I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.
Student : That is it sir . . . exactly ! The link between MAN & GOD is
FAITH. That is all that keeps things alive and moving.

That student was ALBERT EINSTEIN.

31 January 2010

Day off on Monday! yay!

My laptop, Compaq Presario C300 has officially been declared MALFUNCTION today, 1st of February 2010 after a series of post-mortem. It was on the 30th of January 2010 when my laptop went down. I was formatting my laptop because it was infected really bad. I actually was able to complete the formatting session. But somehow, I inaccidentally disturbed the BIOS system in the laptop (I got the driver from Compaq's website.). I was randomly installing drivers to complete the laptop driver management since there was still 4 unknown driver stated in the Device Manager.

The laptop couldn't detect any hard disc drive connected from the motherboard. But it did detect the thumb drive connected on the USB port. Maybe I could use an external hard disc drive and install the Windows OS on it.

Thing couldn't be better on the 31st of January 2010 when my new laptop, Hp Mini came in. I got the laptop around 9:40am in the morning. Yes! I was so happy, I invited Cello to my house for a new recording session for a new song!

Today I was asked by my mother to complete a delivery for a man from Korea who happens to be a teacher based on the name card given, help him to deliver a post to a kid, a young girl who I think is his student. The man is probably her language teacher.

My mother told me that the Korean guy was heading back to his homeland and wanted to post his gift to his student but turns out that there was no post office to be found in the MAS airport. So he turn to my mother and gave the responsibility to her to send his gift to the young girl.

I felt bad when I checked out what the man wanted to send, it was a very beautiful thumb drive (probably from Korea based on the art on the thumb drive) and some plum candy.

Somehow, my heart was overwhelmed, I don't know the story, maybe the teacher liked the student so much, he gave a gift before going back to his homeland. Or maybe the young girl was his best student, probably. Anyhow, the situation was heart-whelming.

According to the card attached, he is a Prof. of Japanese Language Dept. in SAHMYOOK UNIVERSITY.

Oh I wish I could go to Korea one day.

I'll try to complete the delivery today. I don't know how since I never dealt with delivering item that is thick.

Happy Monday! (There was a quote saying that Monday sucks. :p)

26 January 2010

A travelling agony in Sepanggar area in Kota Kinabalu district. Sabah. (January 2010)

It is a usual Tuesday morning when I woke up. I get myself and all my things ready for college. I left house at 10:03am (expecting to reach college before 11:00am.) and head out towards the bus stop which is actually nearer in displacement than its distance (fuh! seriously, it is a bug u-turn.).

So I was waiting for the bus (my house is at the Custom Quarters Complex, at the entrance of Sepanggar Road from Menggatal or Telipok. Hence I have to take a bus to go out from my current location to the other bus stop where the Sepanggar buses stops). There were probably 3 full mini buses that has passed me by. The bus stop I'm headed to is just 1.5km away. Exactly around 10:28am, there was a bus that was half empty (yay!). At last, after a 25 minutes of wait! If I walked from home, I could reach the bus stop in 15 minutes!

Ok, first problem solved. Now waiting for the bus heading to the city, Kota Kinabalu. Instead of stopping by the bustop I was headed, I headed further up to stop at the next bustop hoping to get on the bus earlier than those at the bus stop I intended to stop at first. Well, my plan worked! But the bus only came at 10:42am! At least I get to sit down. That was 20 minutes for waiting the next bus to the city.

This wasn't the case last year, when the bus system changed. After the changes occured, less busses were drawn towards Sepanggar every month. It was 10:00am, yet there were still people congestion at bus stops.

I reached the city at 11:10am. So I was late for class. I decided to head for electronic scavenging.

22 January 2010

Saturday: The only day I get to rest.

I woke up early today and turned on the TV. I changed the channels until I stopped on a channel showing CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. It was the eighth episode for the eighth season titled You Kill Me. While I was watching this episode, an actress somehow attracted my attention. Mandy Webster of CSI, potrayed by Sheeri Rappaport. She is attractive. :D I tried to search images of her on Google, turns out that my search was not in satisfactory.

Sheeri Rappaport

ps: You can find more images of her in CSI by searching "Mandy Webster" in Google.

If you would like to know more on Sheeri Rappaport, here's a link on Wikipedia.org and also on Google.

Another show that I watched while randomly switching the channels is Running In Heels. Yet, another woman cought my attention, Talita Silva. Tried searching in Google, could find any images of her. So here is a video of her on Youtube.com.

Back to Basics with Talita Silva from Running in Heels

Okay, this post isn't just about girls i saw on TV. I realize since yesterday that there were many channels highlighting the "Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief" on MTV, Discovery Channel and other channels. Following the earthquake that hit Haiti, we should try our very best to help the peoples there. We are humans and we should help each other. Below is the link to the page of Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benifit for Eartquake Relief. Click the image below.

Todays post is all about what I do today. :D College life is a busy life, especially entering the final semester.

Kota Kinabalu City is freakingly HOT today!

I don't get it, last night the temperature was so cold (noted that it didn't rain last night), yet today, the temperature was so-so HOT! It is burning the skin! Oh my God!

The plan for today would be to send a plain white tee to Seiloh, accomplish Seiloh's mission to go online today (connection was down yesterday) and if we had the extra time, go for skateboarding at Ahdie's place.

Next week is week #12 for my current semester in PTPL. Exam is in week 17 & 18. Time sure flies by fast, I hope I'm ready for the finals. By the way, week 12 would be the presentation week for our electric & electronic project. My project is currently not "moving". I can't seem to find the flaw. sheesh~

I just found out that the guitarist for the band Necrophagist is a Mechanical Engineer. That is my discovery for today. Wuhoo~!
