The beauty of poetry

Ever since I've gotten the hang of writing lyrics, I have took an interest in poetry. Oh the beauty of English poetry. Here's a nice poem by Robert Frost entitled Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening.

Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there's some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,

Hey y'all! This month paper crafting has been a total addiction for me! I'm currently on the way finishing the Adogedo Gunmen from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Only 3 left hand fingers & the whole right palm left! :D

Anyway, I thought that I'd share some link here, a great link for those who would like to start paper crafting. This is the Facebook profile page of Paperkraft.net, among the first sites I found out about paper crafts.

April Obsession: Paper craft!!

So I just tried something new this week, paper crafting!! I find it very interesting and time pass by really fast while doing them. :D

So I checked Google for images from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann and stumbled upon a Dai-Ganzan paper craft. Since I find it very interesting & there are no models of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann sold (except Gurren Lagann, Gurren & Yoko Littner that I saw just recently in a toy shop), I decided to check it out. I first foun it on a japanese blogger's site, I don't understand japanese but one thing is for sure, his paper crafting skills are advanced!

So I decided to go light-weight. I stubled upon a papercraft on cubeecraft.com, Gurren Lagann & Lagann! :D Check it out! I did them just now at 4:00am GMT. Took me 1 hour.

The next papercraft I tried is from paper-replika.com (supposedly the creator is from Indonesia based on the Bakso stall & the dayak heritage made into papercrafts! Sweet!!) He also has a project making the Gundam Unicorn (Destroy Mode), and has finished it. You guys should check it out because it is made of paper, and it is big! Not so big, but bigger than the normal 1/60 scale gundam figures, I think it is 1/45 scale. BTW, Here is a model of the Aztec Calender from paper-replika.com.

You can find a lot of interesting papercraft from paper-replika.com, I found flip-flops, illuminati, pyramids, heritage of borneo, even ghost such as the pocong & kuntilanak are available in papercrafts! A definite must check!! I stumbled upon a very interesting papercraft here, it is the fictitious H1N1 virus package! Oh I feel like being in Resident Evil when I completed the papercraft. Just look at it, like the packaging of a medicine. The box directly remids me to a lyric by Oceano that says "We are the antidote and also the disease."

My next project to try would be the Agodego from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann! I have it printed, it is 7 pages altogether. So it might take a while, I'll show the results when I'm done with it. :D

There are papercrafts on the internet, why don't you try it! There are also extreme ones if your up to it!

There is this one man, one guy who totally pisses me off! Adored by many musicians, especially guitarist for his undoubted knowledge on the guitar and many musical instruments. What totally pisses me off is he can't control his mouth and says whatever he want to say without caring how you feel. I admit he is very experienced in his field, but if there is any newbie out there, he will do anything to put you down to make you quit the field. He wants all the "glory" all by himself. WTF man. Oh, if you guys were there, he won't stop talking about his experience handling with international musician's instruments. To hell with that, you may be experienced what-so-ever but you cannot even handle your own family.

Why should I respect you? I despise those who adore you so highly. You say things so highly yet you cannot handle your own marriage.
