Saturday: The only day I get to rest.

I woke up early today and turned on the TV. I changed the channels until I stopped on a channel showing CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. It was the eighth episode for the eighth season titled You Kill Me. While I was watching this episode, an actress somehow attracted my attention. Mandy Webster of CSI, potrayed by Sheeri Rappaport. She is attractive. :D I tried to search images of her on Google, turns out that my search was not in satisfactory.

Sheeri Rappaport

ps: You can find more images of her in CSI by searching "Mandy Webster" in Google.

If you would like to know more on Sheeri Rappaport, here's a link on Wikipedia.org and also on Google.

Another show that I watched while randomly switching the channels is Running In Heels. Yet, another woman cought my attention, Talita Silva. Tried searching in Google, could find any images of her. So here is a video of her on Youtube.com.

Back to Basics with Talita Silva from Running in Heels

Okay, this post isn't just about girls i saw on TV. I realize since yesterday that there were many channels highlighting the "Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief" on MTV, Discovery Channel and other channels. Following the earthquake that hit Haiti, we should try our very best to help the peoples there. We are humans and we should help each other. Below is the link to the page of Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benifit for Eartquake Relief. Click the image below.

Todays post is all about what I do today. :D College life is a busy life, especially entering the final semester.

Kota Kinabalu City is freakingly HOT today!

I don't get it, last night the temperature was so cold (noted that it didn't rain last night), yet today, the temperature was so-so HOT! It is burning the skin! Oh my God!

The plan for today would be to send a plain white tee to Seiloh, accomplish Seiloh's mission to go online today (connection was down yesterday) and if we had the extra time, go for skateboarding at Ahdie's place.

Next week is week #12 for my current semester in PTPL. Exam is in week 17 & 18. Time sure flies by fast, I hope I'm ready for the finals. By the way, week 12 would be the presentation week for our electric & electronic project. My project is currently not "moving". I can't seem to find the flaw. sheesh~

I just found out that the guitarist for the band Necrophagist is a Mechanical Engineer. That is my discovery for today. Wuhoo~!

About: Anger Management

Hello to everyone who is reading this.

While I was cleaning the living room yesterday, I came across a brochure titled "Pick-Me-Up: Breeding Catholic Thinkers - Anger Management". I find that the content is quite interesting. For those who has problem with controlling their anger, they should read this.

The brochure was from the church, made by those of Lifeline College Students and Young Adults Ministry (As stated at the back of the brochure). The brochure was issue no. 14, date stated was 13th September 2009 (There was a typo on the brochure, 13nd September 2009).

So I'll just write the whole thing here in this blog. It is really good to read.

You are what you do

What claim do you have on yourself? Do you say you're a singer? Or a painter? Or an animal lover? If so, what proof do you have of your claim? Do you sing, paint, or care for the livelihood of animals?

Our hearts are treasure troves full of dreams and aspirations. Each one of us has something he or she believes in and something he or she wants to become - it's a gift from God when He created us. Nonetheless, dreams and aspirations will only remain as pipedreams should we refuse to do anything to achieve it. The same thing goes with following christ in a journey of faith.

In St Paul's letter to James, he notes it plainly that faith without works is dead (James 2:17). Jesus warns his diciples, "let those who want to follow me take up their crosses," as a Christian, can we confidently say that we are carrying our crosses as we follow him? Or do you still believe that Christianity is merely accomplished by establishing a routine of attending mass every week?

Many of us aspire to become saints, to live life as good Christians as we are called to. But how far do our deeds match up with this faith that wwe claim we have?

"But someone may say: So you have faith and I have good deeds? Show me faith of yours without deeds, then it is by my deeds that I will show you my faith." - James 2:18

Anger Management

One of the most notorious characters in the Bible that comes to mind when one talks about anger Cain - Adam and Eve's eldest son whom, out of anger and jealousy, killed his brother, Abel, in the field and later lied about it to God.

"But now you also must give up all these things: human anger, hot temper, malice, abusive language and dirty talk," - Colossians 3:8

Is it sinful to be angry? To what extend is it ok to be mad? We know anger, like sadness and hapiness, are natural emotions which are created by God Himmself. Emotions are neutral entities, they only become bad when we fail to control them and in turn, get controlled by them. Most of the time, anger is the result of wounded pride. We want revenge because we don't want to accept that we are wrong.

"Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil" - Ephesians 4:26-27

The Bible doesn't tell us that we shouldn't feel angry, but it points out that it is important to handle anger properly. If vented thoughtlessly, anger can hurt others and destroy relationship. Bottled up inside, it can cause us to become bitter and destroy us from within.

St Paul tells us to deal with our anger immediately in a way that builds relationship rather than destroy them. A nursed anger will become like an open store - wide open for the devil to poison.

Are you angry with someone right now? What can you do to solve your differences? Don't let the day end before you begin work of mending your relationship.

08 December 2009

Yep, today is the day, the day my cellphone shattered to many pieces. DAMN! Exactly before 4:20pm today (8th of December 2009), I was on my cellphone talking, and I got irritated by the word "I can't hear you, what are you doing?!" said over and over again. Somehow, my feelings got over my thought, and SMASH! there goes my cellphone.

Well, this certainly has not been the first time my cellphone went off my hand. Usually the phone would be thrown towards the wooden tile at home, the impact was not serious at all. In fact no scratch at all. But somehow, I don't know how my cellphone got destroyed just by throwing it towards a masonry tile. I did realize that i threw with full force. So, lets just say I'm over it now. It was a foolish act, and I admit I did a dumb action, but what do you expect from a guy who is stressed with a lot of jobs to do. Damn this modern world.

I shouldn't be doing the blaming game, but why not, it would be fun!
Okay, I was talking on the phone, the person can't hear me, so I blame my network service provider.
But, before that, I was stressed with my lab partner for my lab practical, he was so slow! I wished he would just be a great team member. Only God knows how furious I was , not so furious, but mad.

Haha.

Okay, so I blame the compulsive stress that was built up from my lab partner to my network service provider.

Compulsive stress = (stress1 x stress2 x stress3)

Compulsive stress = (lousy lab partner x lousy network line x jobs) = A smashed cellphone!

Damages seen were:
1. Cracked LCD
2. No power (Could not turn on)
3. Crooked housing

Items that were saved:
1. M2 memory card (Phew~! )
2. SIM card (Phew~! again)

I wonder if I could send the cellphone for repair. The damage was very severed. A horror!!

Good bye my Sony Ericsson W200i special pink edition. (I dislike pink, but it was a special edition, I got to have it!)

Bought it for RM300 (great bargain for a first-hand cellphone) last year (2008) around the month of October I think. Inclusive M2 memory card 128mb.

Update 12-December-09:

Yesterday I went to send my cellphone for repair. Let's just see if the phone can be fixed or not.
